Changsha Economic Development Zone, Public Security Management Problems And Countermeasures

Economic development zone, which is established under certain historical background and with certain purpose, plays an important role in reform and opening up of our country. It is the nature of development zone that put forwards special requirements for the supporting publicc security management. Practice proves that public security management in development zone has its own characteristics, which are bound to bring a lot of problems and challenges to the management work in the new period. This paper attempts to study the existing problems in public security management of Changsha Economic Developmemt Zone, and try to present some effective ways to deal with and improve the situation.Starting from the present situation of the public security in Changsha Economic Development Zone,, this paper points out the problems, analyses their sources and put forward strategies based on comparison study, documentary reference, empirical study and application of relevant theory. This paper consists of five parts: the first part serves as an introduction, which presents some background of this project, previous study, relevant theory and research methods; the second part mainly focuses on the background and purpose of the development zone, as well as special requirements and features of public security management in development zone; the third part serves as a core, which gives an introduction of the current situation of public security management in Changsha Economic Development Zone and summarize the features of the management work, from which the existing problems are brought forward, finally gives an analysis of the factors and the essence of the problems; the forth part puts forward some strategies to solve the above problems; the last part concludes the study, which emphasizes the significance of enhancing the public security management in economic zone, as well as gives some prospects of future security work.
