Cooperation In Contemporary Rural China Under Study

"He-hui", spreading for a long time all around China, is a worldwide folk finance custom. It bases on Chinese Reclaiming Small-scale Economics and Acquaintances Society, constitutes an important part of social life in traditional china. It is organized by kinship relationships and geographic affiliation, with mutual aid as its purpose, cooperation as its form and rotating as its character, infiltrates into all aspects of traditional social life. After China's Reform and Opening- up, "He-hui" grows to be one of the most important financial pillars for the great-leap-forward economic development in coastal areas. At the same time, the development trend of "He-hui" becomes freaky to a certain extend.This Paper, with the contemporary Chinese rural society as its background, "He-hui" as its research target and in the methods of history, classification, demonstration and comparative, wants to explore the history, cause, character and value of "He-hui"; Then, based on current social and economic conditions in China, explore the future of "He-hui" in China, especially in rural areas, and propose relative legislation suggestion with reference to Taiwan and Japan.
