Teaching quality is the lifeline of school. Keeping and improving teaching quality is the everlasting theme in the founding and development of universities. As the product of the scale-enlarging of higher education, independent colleges have come into the stage of standardizing the school-running and quality-improving. So in order to enhance the teaching management and teaching quality, it is of great theoretical and practical significance for the independent colleges to establish a set of scientific, systematic, effective and diverse teaching quality evaluation system and operation mechanism.This thesis is centered on"The present situation and problems of the teaching quality evaluation in independent colleges","Establishing diverse teaching quality evaluation systems in independent colleges","Making a preliminary designing of diverse teaching quality evaluation MIS system, taking Yunnan Normal University Business School for example". By applying logical reasoning and historical survey, it analyzes the environmental conditions concerning the present situation and problems existed in the teaching quality evaluation in independent colleges. Based on the above, it puts forward how to establish diverse teaching quality evaluation systems that are suitable for the development of independent colleges. It makes a preliminary designing of diverse teaching quality evaluation MIS system, which is favorable for the supervising and improving of teaching quality, as well as the stable, healthy and sustainable development of independent colleges.This thesis is finished with the case analyses exampled by the working units of the writer. On the one hand, by analyzing the result of student evaluation on school net in the latest three years, it explores the problems existed in the student-centered evaluation methods and their implementing process, and then it put forward the solution. On the other hand, by collecting external feedbacks from graduates, parents and employers by means of investigation and interviewing, it provides inference for the designing of diverse teaching quality evaluation system, in aspects of index system, applying approaches and techniques.
