With the expansion of college education, the employment of graduates has been concerned as peoples livelihood issue increasingly. Therefore the responsibility and expectation university takes becoming more and more heavily. It is an urgent topic for graduate employment guidance departments to make it clear that how to improve their job guidance system to help undergraduates have correct ideas on choosing their jobs, planning their career and improving capabilities of employment.Most of Chinese universities set up their employment guidance departments to guide the graduates'employment. However, the status is not so optimistic. So that their employment work be were not evaluated as"Good". This article investigated the graduate employment guidance of S university and analyzed their working concepts, organization structure and daily operations. The findings of the advantages and weaknesses of this work could strengthen the practice of employment guidance work, improve the work methods and provide reference information.It is concluded that the government, universities, employers and the graduates shall make joint effort to improve the graduates employment. Firstly, the university administrators shall change their minds be open to the market, adjust the professional structure and curriculum to meet the market demand, establish the sound circulation of enrollment, training and employment. Secondly, they shall seriously think about how to delimit the administrative function of employment guidance organizations, establish integrated network, improve the system, set up a professional team of employment guidance to provide service. Finally, they shall advise the graduates how to make career planning, change their mentality about employment, improve their quality and increase their employment capability.
