Graduate Employment And Employment Guidance Research

The research emphasis in this dissertation is the problem of employment of college students and employment guidance in the current situations. In the present process of the continuous reform deepening of the employment system of college students in our country, these two problems are closely related and urgently need to be solved in the background that the number of graduates is rapidly increasing in the recent years.As socialist market economy system is being built and gradually perfected, the reform of the high education system is also deepened, and the employment system of college students has gradually changed from traditional mode—complete government distribution to two-way choice or free choice style under the guidance of the governmental employment policies. In the transformation, most graduates can correctly grasp employment situations, change their attitudes toward employment, strengthen their competitive consciousness, actively meet the challenges from the personnel markets and initiatively devote themselves to independent job hunting. However, there are still some students feel at a loss in face of the complex personnel market and get lots of psychological problems. Due to the imperfect polices and systems, which don't form a complete set in the transformation period, graduates are much baffled. And the unbalance between supply and demand of graduates and its structural contradiction makes college students feel heavy pressure toward employment as well etc. Therefore serious investigation and analysis is performed and several countermeasures are tentatively put forward in this dissertation.On the other hand, because the expanded recruit college students have moved into the personnel markets in succession, the number of college graduates in our country will evidently increase in the future. According to the statistics, the total number of graduates in 2002 was 1.45 million, in 2003 was 2.12million and it was up to 2.8 million in 2004. At the same time, because government at all levels are carrying out organizational reform and personnel transfer, state-owned enterprises and facilities transform mechanism and reducing personnel in order to enhance efficiency, the demand of these employment areas is not apparently rising but rather relatively shrinks. Without significant increase in social demand,sharp increase of the number of graduate will inevitably lead to augmented employment pressure of college students. As a result, college students' "employment difficulty" has become a hot spot concerned widely by the society. Overburdened employment pressure brings about psychological pressure and even makes some students cause abnormal behavior, which seriously influences physical and intellectual integrity of young college students. So, how to give college students effective employment guidance is also a problem trying to be explored and solved in this dissertation.This dissertation is made up of introduction and four chapters, about 50 thousand characters. The main content includes:Introduction: the significance of study of this topic, the study methods, and the framework of this thesis.Chapter 1: transformation of employment mechanism and analysis of the current situations of employment of college students. The history of the development of employment system of college students in our country is roughly reviewed, the characteristics of the present employment mechanism and its developing trend is explored and then practical and realistic analysis of the present employment situations of college students is done, emphatically of "employment difficulty" phenomena of college students, especially female college students. This thesis thinks that rigorousness of graduate employment situation is an objective fact, caused by a number of reasons, but this is only one side of the problem.
