The spring up of the Conception of learning begins in American in the 1950s.The Conception of learning is a new research topic in our country, and it affects goal orientation and learning strategy. Conception of learning not only affects the learning process and learning outcome, but also affects lifelong learning. By studying students' conception of learning, while in turn, can provide the insight and direction to learning and instruction. By reviewing the study of beliefs of conception of learning, most researches are done by western scholars against their students and few experts at home get involved in it. The existing research mainly is aims at specific discipline and mainly in primary and middle school students as the research object. But the study on the relation between conception of learning,achievement goal orientation and learning strategy has been reported rarely, so this study tries to probe into the relation between them. As a matter of fact, the researchers on it have involved the fields of our view of conception of learning, and factors that exert influence on educational reform.The thesis introduces the definition,development and present situation of beliefs of conception of learning,achievement goal orientation and learning strategy, based on which, it systematically studies the relationships of them.First, we revised the questionnaires, and then we used the revised questionnaire to investigate 414 undergraduates in Xuzhou were tested randomly. Using SPSS17.0 and AMOS6.0 statistical software cope with the original data in detail. The conclusions as follows:1.The undergraduates' conception of learning are obvious differences on gender and mayor. With regard to gender, conception of learning of male is mature than that of female students. With regard to major, students of liberal arts are mature than students of science;2.The undergraduates' achievement goal orientation are obvious differences on gender but no obvious differences on major. With regard to gender, students of female are to be partial to learning goal orientation and students of male are to be partial to performance goal orientation;3.The undergraduates' learning strategy are obvious differences on gender and mayor. With regard to gender, students of female are expert in using learning strategy. With regard to major, students of liberal arts are expert in using learning strategy than students of science;4.Through mediating effect analysis, it was found that conception of learning influence the learning strategy singly, achievement goal orientation had mediating effect between the conception of learning and learning strategy.
