Self-concept is a core element of personality structure. If we can form the objective,healthy and positive self-concept in this period,then it's better for us to form a stable personality trait and values.Parents and friends.The purpose of this study include:to investigate the feature of middle school student's perceptions of their attachment relationships with parents;the whole situation of students'self concept development and the peer relationship as well as the relationship among the three aspect.Conclusion:1.The self-concept and the peer relationship of middle school students is on the whole in high level.the attachment with mother is better than that with father.2.With the population variables:(1)the self-concept of most middle school student seems to be similar in most dimensions,There are differences in moral-ethical self.Obviously,girls are more positive.(2)the self-concept appears significantly diverse among different grades in all dimensions.Grade one is obviously better than grade two;students who are only child and non-only child demonstrate obviously different in dimensions of family self, it seem to be no obvious different between major in art and major in science.(3)There is no significant difference in peer relationship in sex,grade,only child/non only child.(4)There is no significant difference in mather attachment in gender,and in fother attachment,boys are more disenchanted than girls.There is no significant difference in mather attachment between major in art and major in science.In the mother attachment,students who are only child and non-only child demonstrate obviously different in dimensions of disenchanted degree,only child is more disenchanted than non-only child.3.There is significant correlation among self-concept,peer relationship and parents attachment.Peer relationship and parents can predict one's self concept.4.Peer relationship play partial role between some factor of parents and some dimensions of self-concept.
