The New Upgraded View Of Investigation And Countermeasure For Undergraduate College Students Employment

With the unceasing expansion of the scale of higher education in China and its gradual transition from elite education to popular education, the population of university graduates increases progressively year by year. Meanwhile, the situation of their employment becomes increasingly severe, and they feel more and more difficult to find a satisfying job. As to those newly authorized universities, their lack of management experience and their immature management style bring greater pressure of students'employment. Helping students in newly authorized universities build up a scientific employment value will play an important role in solving their difficulties of employment, since a scientific employment value can lead them to find proper self-position in the society and combine social needs with self-worth to the best.This paper firstly introduced the background, purposes and significances of the study, the state of the field both at home and abroad, and the methods to carry out the study in brief, defined the involved concepts, reviewed the development process of university students' employment value, and explained some relevant ideological theories for the education of university students'employment value. Then, based on the statistical data collected from a survey in students of Hunan Institute of Technology, it analyzed the positive aspects and the main problems of employment value of students in newly authorized universities and inquired into the causes from four aspects:social environment, higher education in universities, families and university students themselves. Finally, under the guidance of Marxism philosophy and values, "Scientific Outlook on Development" and socialistic core value system, it put forward some countermeasures to guide students in newly authorized universities to form a scientific employment value, so as to deepen the current study of this field, and enforce the guiding role of Marxism Theory and ideological and political education in helping university students build up a scientific employment value.
