With the deepening reform of the new curriculum, the education thesis oriented to the students has been accepted and practiced step by step. However, being affected by the traditional value,the pressure of college entrance examination,social environment and other factors, the model of teaching of geography is oriented to the teachers traditionally. This model of teaching is contradictionary to the reform of the new curriculum and not in accordance with the students’mind and body. The essential of modern teaching is learning,the classroom will be filled with vitality if it is a "place of learning" instead of "a place of teaching".This article refers to the basis of the revelent educational thesis, combines the practice of the geographical education,starts with current situation of the teaching and learning of high school geographical class, states the intension and characteristic of high school student-based ideological and political class, summarizes the concrete strategy of the ideological and political class, and try to propose the teaching mode of the ideological and political class, which is beneficial to the building of high school student-based ideological and political class.The thesis includes six chapters.The first chapter is introduction, it states the background objective, meaning, method, and the domestic and abroad summary.The second chapter summarizes the thesis of high school student-based ideological and political class, under the basis of the research, we analyze and summarize the major problems of the senior middle school geographical class.The third chapter attach great importance to analyzing the basic feature of high school student-based ideological and political class while states the basic extension of it. Our teaching should turn in the direction of the students, we advocate the democratic teaching atmosphere, the teachers should interact with the students, and the teaching content encourages opening and generating.The fourth chapter is the core element of this paragraph, it states the strategy of the high school student-based ideological and political class under the six principles of implementation,updating teaching concept establishing teaching objective, optimizing teaching content, transforming teaching method and building the multi-interaction teaching analyzing systemThe fifth chapter summarizes three basic teaching procedure of the high school student-based ideological and political class:transmission, interpretation of the reception and discovery teaching.And analyzes the procedure of lecturing and reviewing of the geography as well as examples.The sixth chapter summarizes the article, analyzes the questionnaire survey and the relevant data, practice has proven students and teachers has dig it a lot.
