Geography is characterized by comprehensiveness and practicality.Geographic practice is an important way of learning geography.By carrying out rich geographical practice activities,students can observe and understand the geographical environment in the real situation,and promote the deep integration of thinking and action.Taking high school geography practice activities(mainly including geographical investigation,geographical survey,and geographical experiment)as the research object,and aiming to cultivate comprehensive thinking of geography as the research objective,the research on teaching strategies of geography practice activities is carried out.Through literature research,on the basis of summarizing the existing research,this paper looks for a breakthrough point,deeply interprets the connotation of comprehensive thinking of geography,and constructs a research theoretical model supported by Dewey's education concept of "learning by doing",constructivism theory and SOLO classification theory.Using case analysis method,taking geography practice in the new edition of compulsory textbooks of PEP in 2019 as an example,this paper analyzes and summarizes the comprehensive thinking characteristics of high school geography practice.Through the questionnaire survey,understand the current high school geography teaching practice in the development of the current situation,and the comprehensive thinking of students.Finally,from the three aspects of the connotation of comprehensive thinking of geography,this paper puts forward the teaching strategies of practical activities of geography that focus on the cultivation of students' comprehensive thinking,designs teaching cases of practical activities of geography in and out of class,and takes the field investigation of "Laokou Water Project" as an example to carry out teaching practice.After the study,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)Through literature review,this paper deeply interprets the concrete expression of the connotation of comprehensive geographical thinking,and constructs the basic theoretical model of cultivating comprehensive geographical thinking through geographical practice activities with the support of Dewey's educational concept of "learning by doing",constructivism theory and SOLO classification theory.(2)Through the analysis of geographical practice activities in textbooks,this paper summarizes the characteristics of geographical practice activities from the perspective of comprehensive thinking: Based on real situations,elements are comprehensive and rich;Pay attention to development and change,space-time comprehensive obvious;Focus on regional characteristics,local comprehensive prominent.(3)Through the questionnaire survey,it is found that there are the following problems in the current high school geography teaching: some teachers have insufficient understanding of the comprehensive thinking of geography;The frequency of geographical practice in practical teaching is not high.Students' comprehensive thinking level of geography based on living situation is not high.(4)From three aspects of factor synthesis,space-time synthesis and place synthesis,this paper puts forward the geography practice activity teaching strategy of comprehensive thinking cultivation,and carries on the teaching demonstration.The teaching strategies of geography practice based on comprehensive thinking cultivation are as follows:(1)The strategy of developing geographical practice activities to cultivate integrated elements: focusing on real life situations and analyzing the relations of various elements;Guide students to diverge their thinking and enhance their comprehensive ability of factors.(2)The strategy of developing geographical practice to cultivate space-time synthesis: using geographical simulation experiments to reproduce the process of geographical evolution;Survey and collect data at the stage,and map to strengthen space-time synthesis;Observe the changes of events on the spot to form a dynamic perspective of analysis.(3)The strategy of developing geographical practice activities to cultivate local integration:combining data with field perception,deepening understanding of regional characteristics;Connecting with local conditions to develop reality and strengthening the cognition of man-land relationship.
