Incentive theory is an important theory in management science, it aims to study the issue of how to arouse the enthusiasm of people, and it is playing a vital role to the person’s behavior deployment. In the field of education nowadays, incentive theory has been payed more and more attention, especially the advance of new curriculum reform which pushes the problems of incentive teaching to the big stage of academic research. The application of incentive theory in the morality classes of high school is a innovation of curriculum management, by using the incentive theory to stimulate students’ learning motivation, develop students’ non-intelligence factors such as cognitive level and willpower in an all-round way.First of all.in this paper, the concepts and theories of the origin of motivation from both home and abroad to do a simple exposition levels,by investigating the junior middle school students’ enthusiasm of having morality classes and the studying condition, analyzing the results of questionnaire survey, and according to the Two Factor Theory of Herzberg, we insured the inevitability of applying the incentive theory into the morality classes of junior middle school.Secondly, we introduced the principle and methods of applying the incentive theory in the morality classes, and discussed about the safeguard measure that we need to build the incentive theory.Optimization of the environment and the reform of traditional classroom teaching evaluation system.Finally, according to the teaching design and interviews with students, we confirmed the validity of applying the incentive theory in the morality classes. And how to ensure better implementation of incentive theory can go a reflection and put forward countermeasures.By combining the characteristics of junior middle school students’ mentality and physiology, we analyzed the basic studying situation of junior middle school students. After applying the incentive theory in the morality classes, we got the practical effect and confirmed the validity of applying the incentive theory in the morality classes.
