Abstract:Secondary vocational education is an important part of vocational education in our country. From "vigorously develop vocational education" of the seventeenth big reports to "speed up the development of modern vocational education" of the eighteenth big report, our country ask for new goals and connotation of vocational education reform and development. Modern vocational education not only pays attention to the skills of students, the cultivation of modern professional ethics, professional quality, but also requires the real combination of talent training and social needs, realizing the subject setting, personnel training target and market docking "zero distance". Tangshan city secondary vocational school is located in the one hundred-year-old coastal heavy industry area, which brings up ten thousands of excellent talents of iron and steel, paper making, chemical industry, the respect such as mechanical engineering and technical personnel. In the process of national education reform and the reform of the modern enterprise, the main purpose of secondary vocational school education is to improve students’ comprehensive quality. Physical education is one of the quality educations. Setting up reasonable sports course content is our country sports education reform and the direction of the secondary vocational school physical education curriculum. At present, there are still some problems about setting physical curriculum content existing in the secondary vocational school in our county.Considering the four secondary vocational schools’specific teaching situation in Tangshan, this paper adopts literature research, mathematical statistics, interview, questionnaire, logic analysis and other methods to study the sports course content setting, analyzing the current situation of the course content setting, the value system of the teachers and students, and then getting the following main conclusions:1Tangshan secondary school physical education course content setting, using high school model, causes the students to study passively, students lack subjective initiative, which severely restricts the progress of the physical education teaching, secondary school physical education should take quality education as the main teaching content, seizing the cutting-edge, and advancing with the times.2The teachers and students evaluate the sports curriculum more objectively, insufficient recognition of the school, sports inadequate infrastructure, the weak of students’ consciousness of exercise, the problem that the school extracurricular sports management is not standard, teachers’ heavy work pressure, the lack of learning opportunities, etc., so that the course content can’t keep up with the pace of the times, unable to stimulate students interest. Schools should pay attention and increase the investment in sports teaching, promoting "health sports" and the development of the "sunshine sports".3Different careers have different physical quality requirements. According to the body gestures of professional workers, we should set professional physical qualities for the course content. A variety of body quality training in the sports teaching method should be combined with the characteristics of vocational professional.4Under the reform background of the vocational education work-integrated learning, university-enterprise cooperation, schools should train the professional people with team spirit. Expanding training should be enrolled in school physical education curriculum content, curriculum planning, enhancing the construction of teachers and base facilities, etc.
