Adolescent stage is an important period in the development of life, a good physique level not only is the foundation of their healthy growth and achieves a happy life, but also related to the strength of the country and the nation’s rise and fall. Because teenagers are building the hope of the motherland, is the potential of social sustainable development of human capital and economic development has an important influence to the society.Martial arts is an important part of Chinese traditional culture, is a collection of fitness, self-defense, cultivate one’s morality, entertainment, a variety of functions for the integration of traditional sports, not only has the function of fitness, but also has to carry forward national culture and inheriting the national spirit of important value. For the popularization and promotion in the youth martial arts, martial arts education and fitness function into full play, in February2010and the state sport general administration of sports health and art education section of the Wushu sports management center to the plate series setting-up exercise martial arts "" national primary and middle school students, and implementation in ordinary primary and secondary schools, secondary vocational schools in the country. The setting-up exercise martial arts by the sunrise, rookie blue (for students), as well as the "youth","kung fu youth"(for students), a complete set of Wushu body-building exercises martial arts affect action as the main content, for the forms of broadcast gymnastics, in Wushu inheritance, carry forward the traditional culture and cultivate the national spirit as the guiding ideology, to enrich students lesson hold big content, enhance our form of adolescent physical and mental health for the purpose of physical exercise. The martial arts movements are in line with the physiological and psychological characteristics of middle school students, can promote their willingness to participate in sports activities, stimulate their interest in learning martial arts, improve the level of their mental and physical health, enhance the social adaptation ability.This paper USES the literature material method, experimental method, mathematical statistics method, combing the characteristics and contents of the martial arts movements, verify the setting-up exercise martial arts for junior middle school students body shape, body function and physical quality effect. The second experiment middle school junior middle school second grade students in changchun city, jilin province as the research object, has carried on the12weeks of setting-up exercise martial arts and physical education teaching intervention, test before and after the intervention, the experimental group and control group the sebum thickness, height, body weight ratio (BMI), and other body shape index, vital capacity and step index such as body function index and sit-ups, pull-ups and other physical quality index. The result shows that:A, body form aspects:on the height and weight index, boys and girls were no significant difference before and after the experiment, compared with the control group, also did not see significantly lower. But from the abdomen sebum thickness index analysis, boys and girls are significantly lower before and after the experiment, compared with control group, also has a significant difference. The girl group with very significant difference. It is clear that wushu setting-up exercise can improve the junior middle school students body shape.Second, the body function aspects:martial arts setting-up exercise can significantly improve the body function of junior middle school students. In the before and after the experiment for the boys significantly improve the vital capacity and step test index, and significantly higher than the control group; Girl’s vital capacity and step test indexes before and after the experiment is very significant to improve, and very significantly higher than the control group.Three, physical aspects:boys in grip strength before and after the experiment, pull-ups,50m x8had no significant difference on shuttle run, compared with the control group, also did not see significant improvement. In the standing long jump, close their eyes when standing on one foot, reaction of index analysis, boys and girls before and after the experiment were significantly improved, compared with control group, also has a significant difference. On sit-ups test, girls before and after the experiment were significantly improved, compared with control group, also has a significant difference. But the girl in grip strength,50meters x8shuttle run on the test of the difference is not big. Before ZuoWeiTi flexion test project, both men and women before and after experiment were significantly improved, compared with control group, with very significant difference. Visible, martial arts setting-up exercise can significantly improve the body quality of junior middle school students.
