With the improvement of network availability and timeliness, more and more people tend to be access to information and participate in various activities on the Internet at any time. At the same time, Rapid development and popularity of mobile network make the users to interact with others without the limit by space and time.This study make several examples about three different ways of Internet public welfare activities and two interviews from professional social workers, to explore the social identity and professional identity of network social work. To understand the approval degree of social and professional personage, this study use method such as literature analysis, structured or non structured interview. Then put forward the conception of and establish the framework of network social work.This study will provide the reference value and create the reality basis to build network social work.This study is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction; the paper analyzes the background and significance of this study, related research at home and abroad, and the contents, methods and innovations of this study.The second part chose a few practice cases of children case work, school social work, teenage social work, community work, to analyze the social work and service respectively from different field’s.Then get the conclusion about the network social work practice and social identity.The third part designs two interviews from people who have professional social work knowledge and background, to understand their opinion of network social work, get conclusion network social work’s professional identity.The fourth part makes the discussion about network social work’s social and professional identity. This part not only proves that the network social work has certain social demand and basically recognized by the social, but also has a wide range of professional demand and a high degree of identity. Based on the predecessors’ research this study put forward again the conception of network social work and try to explain it.
