It has been more than a decade since China’s development on master degree of art education grows from the very beginning of discovery to mature. In this period, China from having nothing turns to gain talent with master degree of art education, transformed from hard exploration to rapid developing. Educating students of art for master degree of art education plays a very important role of improving China’s education industry. Since2009, China had decided to initiate education of full time master degree of art education; students are mainly from new bachelor graduates. After four years development, it has trained a large number of art education graduates for our front-line personnel education. Though it achieved remarkably effects in the last four years, however, this period is still too short for China’s full time master of art education course to overcome the various problems.This essay will focus on the problems which exist in China’s full time master of art education course setting. By using study methods include documentation, investigation, interviewing, this essay will analyse and argue the situation of the full time master of art education course, and then recommends the suggestion of’focus on full time art education master degree’s practicability and occupational ability’, so a revolution of full time full time master of art education course is expected as well as China’s art education’s development.This essay will be divided into four parts. At first, it will talk about the background and meaning of the topic, and also the method and thinking of study, meanwhile, defines the related concepts. Secondly, it will explain in short on the meaning and development of art education master degree, and then illustrate in detail on each state of the history that how China develop its master education degree. In the end of this section, it will summarize the characters of China’s full time master of art education, which are practicability and occupational ability. In the third part, it will analyse nowadays situation of China’s full time master of art education course setting, investigate the problems of China’s full time master of art education course setting. In the last part, according to the field survey, it will focus on the problem of course content, course structure, and teaching practice of China’s full time master of art education course setting, in order to propose informative recommendation on China’s full time master of art education course setting.
