An aging population has become the world’s common problems that can’t be allowed to ignore, the growing aging population and the resulting all kinds of social problems, will have a profound impact on social and economic development and modernization of our country. In today’s supporter of "active aging", further studies for the elderly, speed up the development of aged education, has become a cause of urgent. Based on the analysis of the urgency of the elderly education development and combining the development status of abroad, finally put forward our country’s old age education strategies of promoting. Full text is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction. This part introduces the initiative positive ageing today, aged education research background and significance, and introduces the contents and methods; this paper will research the process of research and innovation. And related concepts defined.The second part is aging and the understanding of the aged education. From the perspective of the elderly the urgency of the education development in China, and analysis of the theoretical basis for the development of aged education, older education career is urgently needed.The third part is the current situation of the development of aged education in foreign countries. Respectively from the running forms, curriculum setting, management mode, the teaching way is introduced.The fourth part is current situation of our country’s education development of the elderly. In the process of development, great achievements have been made, at the same time, there are also some problems. The author selected the older university and Shaanxi University of Elderly in Shaanxi normal university, in the two elderly universities, a questionnaire was made and some problems found, as the old education mainly in the form of typical old university and that can be used as a reference, to lay a good foundation for the article which puts forward the development strategy of aged education.The fifth part is the last part of the article. From the macro, meson and micro level puts forward the counter measures of the aged education development in our country. It shows how and what the state and society, older school and older education workers should do to work and improve respectively.
