A Mind Map is a graphical way to represent ideas and concepts. It isa visual thinking tool that helps structuring information in a colorfulway that is easy to remember and resembles much more closely how the brainactually works. Since it presents know]edge and the connection amongelements in an effective and vivid way, through which we could see thethinking process of students, mind mapping has been gradually adopted ineducation over the past years. As a useful learning method, it helpsstudents to think widely and in good order, improving their learningefficiency, expanding their memory capacity, and finally unlocking thepotential of their brain. The application value of mind mapping in education has been widelyaccepted by educators. However, the application of mind mapping inreviewing ideological and political courses has not yet been studied tillnow. Finally, in the fifth chapter, the paper discusses howto optimize reviewing strategies of ideological and political courses forsenior high school students in terms of concepts, theories and politicaltopics respectively. This paper combines mind mapping with the reviewing of ideologicaland political courses of senior high school students, in order to findanother effective way to learn ideological and political discipline.
