History Thinking Ability is the key in the History teaching. College entrance examination act as a leader in higher education in China. In2008, the Jiangsu province held the first college entrance examination after the curriculum reformation since the beginning of this century, in which the history thinking ability played a significant role. In this thesis, the history teat questions of college examination of Jiangsu Province from2008to2013are wholly and deeply analyzed and evaluated. And based on this analysis, some advices for history teaching in higher middle school will be given.This paper consists of four parts. The first part is an introduction of the whole research, in which the research background, significance and research situation will be included. The second part, chapter1, will talk about the basic theory of history thinking ability. And also, the reason why the history thinking ability should be paid more attention in college entrance examination will be discussed in this part. The third part, chapter2, is an analysis of the history test question of Jiangsu Province from2008to2013, which is focused on the history thinking ability. Based on these analysis, some suggestions to perfect the test paper will be discussed and listed in the last part, chapter3.There is a summary at the end of the paper.This research try to promote the reform of college entrance examination question making, and the function of college examinations can be further developed as well. Through this research, some suggestions and proposals can be provided to those who are in charge of making history examination questions and all history teachers.
