Aesthetic perception is the prerequisite and basis of aesthetic experience and activitiesof children, also is the premise and methods for children to apperceive beauty, toappreciate beauty and accumulate the children’s inner emotional. The purpose of this studylies in the appreciation of paintings by children to study children’s perception of theaesthetic characteristics of the top class of kindergarten, in order to enrich the field ofpsychology of aesthetic perception of pre-school children and their aesthetic theorybelongs, provide theoretical support for educators to organize and implement theappreciation activities.In this study, researcher used the literature research method, interviewing method,observational method, combining with the data analysis and description of thephenomenon to describe aesthetic perception characteristics of kindergarten childrenthrough the three dimensions. These three dimensions are paintings’ gestalt perception,emotions perceptual, performance that accompanied the aesthetic perception of children.The results showed that: Most children have a complex gestalt perception. But fordifferent types of paintings, children are more aware of the complex Gestalt of figurativepaintings and the full composition paintings. From the gender perspective, the male infanthave high capacity to apperceive the complex Gestalt of abstract painting works, thefemale infant have high capacity to apperceive the complex Gestalt of figurative paintings.In perceptual aspects of emotional expression, there is a big difference in emotionperception, moreover, emotion manifestation of children is difficult to fully grasp theemotional performance of the more complex painting. In addition, the consistent degreeand the breakthrough point of different types of painting works’ emotion manifestation thatMale and Female infant apperceived are also have the big difference. With the children’sperformance of aesthetic perception, expression is a common phenomenon associated withthe children’s aesthetic perception. The Synesthesia phenomenon, limb movement andsound even exists in the children’s aesthetic perception, but not universal. The emergenceof these phenomena often Influence by the content, form factors of paintings and thepersonality characteristics of children and so on. Based on the above study results,researchers have proposed which can help educators to effectively use painting works todevelop children’s aesthetic perception. These three suggestions are effective to guidechildren to apperceive, Reasonable to choose the appreciation of paintings and pay attention to Influence of environment on children’s aesthetic perception.
