With the vigorous development of educational informatization, the application of information technology in education teaching is strengthened and the information technology course is also listed as one of the basic education required courses. However, in Chinese current education environment, the development of information technology curriculum is restricted by various factors, therefore in the information technology course teaching, there also exists lots of outstanding problems; the traditional teaching way can not already adapt to the needs of the current information technology course teaching, and the new way of teaching which is appropriate to the information age is being gradually introduced into the teaching. Mind map is a simple and effective graphics thinking and knowledge representation tools, the advantages is useful to the concept, characteristics and targets of the senior high school information technology curriculum. This study attempts to apply mind map to the senior high school information technology classroom teaching, aimed at resolving the current outstanding problems that exist in the senior high school information technology teaching, optimizing the teaching effect of senior high school information technology course, effectively promoting the all-round development of students, and hoping to provide some theoretical references for the application of mind map in the education teaching.The paper will be divided into six chapters:Chapter1is the summary of research including the research background and significance, research status, research goal, the content, research ideas, methods, etc.Chapter2is the relevant theoretical basis of the study. The author introduces the concept, characteristics, elements and uses of mind map, and explains the brain science theory, constructivism learning theory and schema theory which are used to guide the theoretical basis of this study.Chapter3introduces the application strategy of high school information technology teaching. Firstly, the author outlines the mind map drawing. Secondly, the author expounds the application principles of mind map in senior high school information technology teaching. Finally, based on the previous two parts, the author puts forward the mind map application strategies of the high school information technology teaching. Chapter4is a mind map action research in senior high school information technology teaching applications, In this chapter, mainly under the guidance of mind mapping application strategies in high school information technology teaching which is put forward in chapter3, the author introduces his action research which is made by designing two mind map based information technology teaching cases and applying them to senior high school information technology teaching. In the action research the author explored the following aspects:(1) Application of mind map in the high school information technology curriculum teaching advantages;(2) the use of mind map in teaching can or can’t promote comprehensive development of students;(3) new requirements for teachers in the mind mapping application teaching;(4) the existed implementation limitations, application conditions, and other problems that need attentions in the use of mind map teaching.Chapter5is the conclusion and reflection of the mind map information technology teaching application research in the senior high school. This chapter mainly studys the actions of the fourth chapter carries on the analysis, summary and induction, and the corresponding conclusions. Study:mind map in the information technology curriculum teaching in high school there are many advantages, can promote the students’ interest in learning, improve the effect of teaching and learning, and promote the development of students ability in many aspects; But at the same time, the mind map teaching way also exist limitations, it does not apply to all of the teaching content, also can’t solve all the problems in teaching, can make up for the insufficient part in teaching; And have to use a mind map, implement effective teaching should also attaches great importance to the mind map in the teaching application conditions and problems need attention in use process.Chapter6is the summary and outlook. A brief overview of some of the research experience and harvest, and this study illustrates the deficiencies which are needed to improve. Finally, the application of mind map in teaching is discussed.
