A Study On The Clinical Social Work Of Children With Leukemia

In the past20years, leukemia is the highest incidence of malignant disease in childhood which is one of the major causes of death in children over the age of5.They will suffer in two aspects of physical and mental in the course of treatment. With the development of modern medical technology, psychological treatment and counseling between patients and family which paid more and more attention. Medical social work does not only satisfy this need, and gradually become the modern medical service concept. In this paper, through the analysis of the process of practice clinical social work method in childhood leukemia, in combination with the clinical characteristics of this group, to explore the feasibility of "intervention mode of clinical perspective" extended under in the process of practice. The study found, clinical social work in micro of the human and environment (p, e) and macro of the human and the environment (P, E) effective intervention strategies development on four levels, also need to provide personalized services for different patients in the process of exploration in practice. Through the exploration of practice together with the current service content to sort out four aspects of content, which is include clinical social work in dealing with personal problems, dealing with group needs, linking to personal with the medical institutions and social service system resource, and last to building the related policies and plans. Finally, combined with the actual discussion and give advice on the development, discuss the prospect of clinical social work.
