Student’s self-management is required for the physical and mental maturity ofhigh school students. In recent years, scholars have gradually begun to focus on thefield of students’ self-management. Meanwhile, the practice and research on classself-management has achieved a good development, but the research and practice ofschool level is still very weak.Taking Yuxi Nationality Middle School as an example, the author made aresearch on the issue of how high schools can achieve full, comprehensive, andwhole-course self-management with Action Research and School-based Research asmain methods. The research is mainly composed of three aspects: First, the study onthe standardization of the content of high school students’ self-management,including the theoretical foundation, the specific content and the standardization ofconstructing the content of high school students’ self-management. Second, the studyon the systematization of the operation of high school students’ self-management,including establishing a "three-level" students’ self-management team, developing acorresponding operation scheme, and establishing a potent security system and aperfect assessment system for "high school students’ self-management". Third, thestudy on establishing self-management curriculum for high school students, usingsocial practice lesson as a carrier to build and carry out the course of "high schoolstudents’ self-management".This research has found an approach to full, comprehensive, and whole-courseself-management for high school students. And it has also achieved the goal of thestandardization of the content, the systematization of the operation, establishingself-management curriculum. Our school has reached the expected effect with practice after thestudents’ self-management. The research obviously shows that students’ self-management is anefficient way as well as a tendency of high school students’ self-management.
