Chinese new curriculum reform for Primary and secondary schools has beencarried out for over10years.Yunnan province is the last batch selected to the newcurriculum reform, so the reform duration is shorter. Lots of inefficient, invalidteaching phenomena occurred within the subject reform of Chinese,which areurgently needed to be improved.It has got the positive response of the primary and secondary schools since thepopularization of new curriculum reform.Many schools carried out the researchactivities related to the new curriculum reform. Gejiu No1Middle school carried outthe effective classroom teaching research activities before the implementation of thenew curriculum reform with the aim to popularizing relevant concepts of newcurriculum and improving teaching efficiency and quality.Activity at Gejiu No1Middle school is an epitome for the whole reform. This paper takes Chinese effectiveclassroom teaching research activities in Gejiu No1Middle school as a case, usingthe literature method, observation method, case analysis method, to explore effectiveteaching in Chinese classes of high school.Based on the theories of effective teaching and the reform concepts of newcurriculum, teaching research activities of Chinese effective teaching at Gejiu No1Middle school have been objectively analyzed, gain and loss during the process ofChinese course reform have been summarized as well, thus a mirror like this case wasproduced to reflect the real appearance of Chinese teaching in high school in Yunnanprovince, also aim to act as a reference for Chinese effective teaching of high schoolall around the country. In view of above argumentation and case analysis, severalhelpful ways to implementation of Chinese effective teaching have been proposed inthe last chapter of thesis as following.(1) Relevant concepts of basic education curriculum reform must be put intopractice;(2) Chinese teachers’ basic quality and professional skills could be enhanced toadapt the reforming strategies; (3) In the process of teaching, the approaches such as accurately grasping theteaching goal, combination between team and individual lesson preparation, andpractice of teaching reflection, will help to achieve high school Chinese effectiveteaching.
