The Application Of Interpersonal Communication Analysis Theory In The Communication Between Teachers And Students In Colleges And Universities

This paper systematically elaborates the basic philosophy and composition of the transactional analysis which proposed by the American psychologist Eric Berne, making an investigation of current situation of communication between teachers and students in college, analyzing the causes of this situation, and putting forward the ideas that applying the transactional analysis into communication between teachers and students in colleges.In this paper, the author analyzes the communication attitude, the behavior in communication, the choice of environment, and the evaluation of the communication behavior based on the interviews among 70 students and 30 teachers, which gives a conclusion that the communication between teachers and students is not satisfactory. The author analyzes the effect factors of the poor communication between the teachers and students from three aspects: the differences between the two, crossed transaction, and the mistaken ideas. Also, he applies the transactional analysis to solve these problems, making the two sides realize the importance of forming the adult ego state, good psychology state, and the complementary transaction.This paper uses a lot of applied cases to put forward in the article point of support, launches a group-training practice. The concrete measures and steps of communication between teachers and students is strongly operational.The results of this study create an effective way of communication between teachers and students, which is beneficial to improve the communication effect, also is conducive to the promotion of the college ideological and political education work. In conclusion, the research methods and ideas of this paper are good references for ideological and political educators.
