In recent years, the new round of middle school new curriculum reform is being carried out, history teaching in secondary schools in effective utilization of local history curriculum resources, to better achieve the history new curriculum teaching objectives, and actively promote the history curriculum reform has very important practical significance. Therefore, the author thinks, history teachers in middle school should fully recognize the importance of the teaching of local history, the area of the local history curriculum resources and the middle school history teaching combination, consciously in the teaching of history in the use, in order to better achieve the history new curriculum teaching objectives, to promote the reform of history curriculum.This article first elaborated the selected topic reason, research status, research methods, on the" local history curriculum resources " for the concept, briefly introduces the case school is the author teaches the basic situation of Yancheng City Wenfeng middle school. Secondly, from the four aspects of middle school history teaching in the development and utilization of local history curriculum resource significance and function, explores the local history curriculum resources development and utilization of basic approach. Then, the author introduced the Yancheng region rich in local history curriculum resources, especially focuses on the Yancheng region in recent years eye-catching red culture, analyzed the author teaches middle school Yancheng City Wenfeng local history curriculum resources development and utilization of the existing problems and causes in. The author thinks, Yancheng area most of the secondary widespread local history curriculum resource utilization inefficiency, and exam-oriented education mechanism is the cause of this condition is the main reason. Finally, the author on the basis of practice through a lot of teaching case put forward Yancheng local history curriculum resources and the high school history teaching the combination of four ways, and on the basis of local history curriculum resources should follow the scientific, pertinence, flexibility and other three principles.
