The new curriculum reform initiates to change the way of study for students, pays great attention to raise students’ science inquisition ability, scientific attitude and spirit of science. As one of the ways of study, the research study in the new chemistry teaching, has obtained unprecedented value. However carrying out the research study in reality is prove to meet difficulties on the resources, the information as well as the methods. Information technology in information age has provided one kind of possibility for the development of research study. The information technology may bring impetus in question discovery, information collection, information processing, information utilization and cooperative study for carrying out the research study. Moreover, it may provide a powerful tool for teachers in coaching students effectively, stimulating student’s interests about study, encouraging students to study, and participating in student’s learning process appraisal.Under the basis of theoretical analysis to the chemistry research study, with the reference to information technology, this paper has discussed the necessity and feasibility of information technology in senior high school chemistry research study from theory and reality. Apart from that, this paper also proposes classroom instruction pattern and strategy under the support of information technology in high school chemistry research study. Under this theoretical basis, with the help of information technology, the author has designed some typical practice cases about chemistry research study, including setting up context, providing foundation for hypothesis, supporting experimental investigation, as well as carrying on integrated design.
