Study On The Spatial Allocation And Optimization Of Primary And Middle Schools In Six Cities Of Beijing

Beijing aims to become a world city synonymous with Paris, London in the middle of this century. However, just like other big cities, Beijing is also faced with many problems: including overpopulation, swarm together, traffic congestion, housing shortage,serious difficulties of resource supply, pressure on urban comprehensive security and other issues. And reasonable distribution of primary and middle schools is also a way to solve the Beijing urban disease. Being part of Beijing, six district of Beijing city has played an important role in urban development of Beijing. So this paper has analyzed the current situation of primary and middle schools in six district of Beijing city space configuration.In the beginning, the paper reviews the foreign related researches on education space allocation, and then is domestic researches, theories and policies; And the next step is data extraction, use of modern tools such as GIS to analyze the spatial configuration of the primary and middle schools in Beijing city; Based on of it, this paper expounds the primary and secondary schools of unequal space configuration mechanism; In the end,according to all the above analysis, explains the source of primary and middle schools in Beijing city space configuration optimization, layout optimization ideas and solutions and gives the corresponding suggestions.The study finds out that the unbalanced phenomenon of primary and secondary schools in Beijing city do exist in the spatial configuration. So the paper from four perspective analyses the mechanism of uneven spatial configuration: one is urban development path dependence and policy deviation; second is in central urban city, there are many differences between economic strength and the education investment; third is the process of urbanization; four is unreasonable of the school structure configuration,and the last of last, this thesis having given a little basic suggestions.
