To improve the national quality and cultivate creative talents, a hot wave of creating model senior schools is raised across China. With the strong support of national policy, the number of provincial model senior schools is increasing year by year, and their teaching management mechanism becomes perfect and is recognized by society and parents. The teachers there suffer various pressure and challenges from society, schools, students and parents correspondingly. Supervisors have to think about: how to establish a teacher incentive mechanism and how to run it scientifically, so as to adapt to the urgent requirement of leap-forward development of current education. In reference to existing research results, this essay analyzes the problems and the causes of these problems in current incentive mechanism used in provincial model senior schools, elaborate the strategies about how to modify the present incentive mechanism by strengthening the consciousness of supervisors, creating new methods of innovation and polishing the assessment system related to incentive mechanism. A diverse, scientific and reasonable incentive mechanism is put forward, which can contribute to the enhancement of management, teaching efficiency and competitive of provincial model senior schools.
