As the times change,more and more attention is paid to the development of higher education in our country.The managers of universities should conform to the situation and pay attention to the imperfection of education in every phase of the development of education.Teaching is the core function of universities,its status is naturally self-evident;and then as the main body of teaching work,university teachers should also receive the attention,university administrators should guide and inspire their teaching work.The level of teacher's teaching initiative determines whether the teaching work can be put into practice smoothly,the pros and cons of teaching quality of teachers also determines whether the majority of students can obtain high quality education.Based on the realistic spirit of research,this essay explores and analyzes the teachers' teaching encouragement mechanism in universities in Hainan Province so as to make full use of their potentials and improve the overall teaching level.First of all,this article uses the relevant incentive theory to explain the Porter-Lawler comprehensive incentive theory with deep excavation,and a comprehensive analysis of the main factors that affect the teaching motivation of college teachers can lay a theoretical foundation for the design of the questionnaire and the idea of a comprehensive incentive model for the teaching of college teachers.Secondly,this study will select college teachers as the research objectin in Hainan Province;aim at teacher incentives for universities in Hainan Province,we hand out questionnaires to them to obtain relevant data.The first step is to test the reliability of the questionnaire with Spearman-Brown coefficient,Guttman Split-Half coefficient and Cronbacha coefficient in using SPSS software;content validity is used to test the comprehensiveness of the designed items in the questionnaire;this paper use principal component analysis to extract its factors after testing the feasibility of the questionnaire by factor analysis was tested by using the KMO value and Bartlett sphericity,then we get two main factors.The second step is to conduct a holistic analysis on the teaching motivation of H university according to the questionnaire analysis of teaching initiative scores and the satisfaction of each factor score,then analysis the variance of the teaching motivation effects of teacher based on job title,age and whether to assume the administrative job characteristics to make this research more specific.The third step is to analysis the problems facing the current teachers teaching incentives in colleges from the questionnaire data analysis.Next,before building a comprehensive incentive model for teaching motivation ofuniversity teachers,this paper analyze the teaching initiative according to these two main factors such as satisfaction factors and performance factors,it also added how the goal can play a role in teaching motivation.After the model is built,this paper have an overall analysis of the correlation of various sub-factors and teaching initiative and among the various sub-factors,and in this study,the job title is used as a division basis to consider the differences between the various sub-factors on the teaching initiative of teachers with different characteristics.Finally,using the previous research results to test the whole model and each sub-factor in order to further optimize the model.In the end,the author put forward the basic principles of establishing the incentive incentive mechanism for college teachers' teaching activity by combining Porter-Lawler's comprehensive incentive model.According to the results of the model analysis,the framework,operation mode,and main content of the incentive mechanism are designed so as to provide a reasonable solution to the problems existing in the previous incentives,and on this basis,relevant countermeasures and suggestions are proposed.
