Recently, the music education in elementary school is highly emphasis and the singing teaching is one of the most importance within the music education in our country. As proven in the practice, various methods used in the music class in elementary school could develop the students music aptitude in many perspective and improve the music literacy of the students. It is obvious that we can achieve the goals of the moral education and aesthetic education through music class, and music education can make an unnegligible effect on the emotional development, mental health and personality formation of the students. Also, the singing teaching, an important part of music teaching, has made considerable development. In my opinion, singing teaching not only cultivates the basic skills of singing but also cultivates the music perception for students.The core part of the thesis is to analyze the situation of singing teaching in the Sun Yi Elementary School in the Dacheng County, Langfang City, Hebei Province, the author’s Alma mater. Through the study on the class form, the student’s reaction in the class in the Grade one and Grade Six in Sun Yi Elementary School, comparing with my teaching practice, I figured out the advantages and disadvantages of singing teaching in Sun Yi Elementary School, and provided the corresponding suggestion and recommendation. It is the time for grade one students to touch the music at the very beginning, and it is the time to bridge the primary school teaching and secondary school teaching for grade six students. Then I put forward some advice and feasible measures for the two special periods, to improve the music teaching standards of Sun Yi Elementary School in the Dacheng County, Langfang City, Hebei Province.This paper consists of introduction and four chapters.The introduction mainly introduced the background and meanings of the research, and reviewed the literatures, then gave the concept definition and research methods. Meanwhile, the recent situation of singing teaching in Sun Yi School was summarized in this part.The Chapter one is the overview of the survey. The first section described the location, floor space, teachers and facilities of Sun Yi Elementary School. The second and third section analyzed the situation of singing teaching of Grade One and Grade Six in the view of class form and class reaction in Sun Yi School. Then we summarized the actual situation of the survey and research of the School.The Chapter two is about my previous teaching practice. The chapter divided into two parts, and analyzed the teaching status from my own practice in the design of the teaching plan, teaching methods and class reaction at grade one and grade six class in the school respectively.The third chapter is comparative analysis. The first section gave the comparison about teaching methods, class reaction and conclusion in the grade one class in Sun Yi School with my own practice in the singing teaching. And following section gave the comparison between the grade six class and my own practice in the aspects of teaching methods, class reaction and conclusion.The fourth chapter is the rethinking about the teaching practice and the correspondence measures. At beginning, the article reviewed and reanalyzed the teaching practice in the class of grade one and grade two and then there are some advices and feasible measures for the problems of the practice in grade one and grade six.Finally the conclusion was provided as the summury of the research.
