Since the New Curriculum Reform, the concept and practice reform on primary school composition teaching has been an important part in Chinese teaching reform. At present, there is no denying that the research and practice in this field made some achievements. But the composition teaching still exists common problems as follow:the pupil’s writing is out of life, lacking their real feelings and childlike innocence; writing language and writing thinking don’t accord with children’s identity; teachers ignore students’ personality and children’s language, destroy childlike innocence while teaching; unscientific teaching methods lead to impractical training on pupil’s abilities of thinking, expressing and writing and so on. All above has become a bottleneck restricting the development of the current primary school composition teaching. In recent years, the concept of "childlike composition" has been put forward and exploratory practiced, which contributes to solving above problem. This paper studies "childlike composition" in primary school, aims to apply the teaching skills to better the condition.The thesis consists of three parts:introduction, body part and conclusion. The introduction part reviews the research in related fields, illustrates the origin, significance and methods of the research, and introduces the innovation of this paper.Body part is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is to learn the teaching and student’s writing situation through the questionnaire and sample survey of several primary schools in different areas of Jiangsu Province, sum up the common problems in primary school teaching of writing, and analyzes the causes of the problems from aspects of students, teachers, teaching materials and school, society. This paper argues that:the main causes of low teaching and writing level of primary school are as following:first of all, childlike words and childlike innocence of students have been destroyed:children always do as one is told in the subordinate status, and dare not question the teachers, or have a new idea; premature state has stifled children’s active nature deprived children of rights of being children. Secondly, the teaching concept is backward:most of the teachers themselves don’t like writing; teachers view children writing in an adult way, lacking of correct teaching attitude; Due to the influence of examination oriented education, stylized teaching idea in composition teaching is serious. Moreover, writing design in the textbook is not scientific:writing special arrangement has an adult tendency; selection of material is not truly"children-based"; "children" feature of pictures is not clear. Finally, education concept of school and society is biased:in the exam oriented education system, the school greatly neglected children; the increasingly commercial society pursues the fast food culture, and ignore the traditional Chinese education.The second chapter clarifies the concept of "childlike" and "childlike composition", and elucidate the characteristics of "childlike composition". The thesis believes that the" child "composition" has characteristics of subjectivity, reflect the children’s real life, and is children-based; It also has authenticity, expresses the sincere feelings; romantic atmosphere of children, and originates from children innocence; Finally, it has Individuality expresses the unique childlike discourse.The third chapter illustrates the theory foundation of "children’s composition" teaching, which regards that "the children’s writing" teaching respect children, pay attention to the development of children’s development characteristics, extending children’s individuality, requiring children to obey nature.freedom to express their inner thought is come down in one continuous line with ancient Chinese education theories such as "the methods of teaching children" and Wang Yangming’s philosophy of education; the concept which "teaching children’s composition" pursues is Consistent with Montessori’s conception of children, rousseau’s nature education, children’s cognitive law in constructivism and student-based thinking in humanitarian.At the same time, "children’s composition" is applied to teaching and researching on the basis of these theories; It also meet the relevant requirements of the chinese curriculum standard.The fourth chapter elaborates the "childlike composition" Teaching Strategy. It believes that the strategies of implementation of this teaching idea in primary school are:first, the embodiment of "children’s composition" teaching idea in teaching materials:reasonable design which is full of children’s interest, writing topics which promote children’s free expression, and is close to the child’s actual life; adequate amount of model essays which can stimulate the children’s interest, increase children’s knowledge, as well as develop children’s thinking ability; selection of pictures that are full of affection, imagination and philosophy. Secondly, the teachers should improve the specialized theoretical knowledge: establish a correct concept of children based on children; play the leading role in the "children’s composition" in the teaching of writing; pay attention to children’s psychological needs; develop good habits of children’s writing; create the writing environment for the cooperation and communication between teachers and students. Also teachers should regularly conduct teaching reflection of teaching design, lead in, teaching process, and outputs of "children’s composition",finding out and solving the problems timely. What’s more, pay attention to the principal status of children:make children dare to dream, to enrich their lives, enrich their experience of the game. Finally, we should advocate the "children’s composition" teaching from the three aspects:restore the childlike discourse, children’s experience and evaluation, and improve the quality and efficiency of "Childlike Composition".The fifth chapter summarizes the practical significance of "children’s composition teaching and teaching reflection of children’s composition "practice. It holds that "childlike composition teaching" is a good way to stimulate children’s interest in writing, to arouse expression of the children’s innocence, improve children writing level, and well promote the harmonious communication between teachers and students, make teachers’ teaching younger, which meet the need for green and healthy development of China’s current primary school composition teaching. But at the same time, some problems still exist in children’s writing" teaching practice, such as model writing essays may lead to fossilization, the characteristics of learning phases of the teaching strategies are not clear, attention to family education is insufficient and so on, these issues need further study and improvement.
