There has been a phenomenon of favoring intelligence over emotion insecondary vocational education affected by the traditional concepts of education.Emotional education has been long neglected. As the underachievers in SeniorHigh School Entrance Examination, most of the secondary vocational studentshave low quality. Because of lacking emotional education, secondary vocationalstudents get worse in the emotional aspects. Students do not get the developmentof healthy personality and are lack of humanistic spirit badly. In the classroomteaching, students are disgusted with study while teachers are tired of teaching,which forms a vicious cycle and affects teaching effect seriously. According to this,the author selects emotional education as a research topic and hopes that the studycan let more vocational school teachers pay attention to emotional education, andprovides valuable suggestions for them in order to foster students’ soundpersonality and healthy emotion, to guide them to establish correct outlooks onlife,world and values.This paper takes Biochemistry as the breakthrough point, bases on the theoryof emotional education, refers to the research status quo at home and abroad,studies and analyzes the status quo of emotional education in Biochemistryteaching by questionnaire survey and interview survey, explores theimplementation of emotional education and puts forward specific strategies toimplement the emotion education. This study is divided into six chapters. Theauthor puts forward the issue in the Introduction, analyzes the research status quoat home and abroad and points out the purpose, content and methods of the study.The second chapter explains the meaning and theoretical basis of emotionaleducation, which provides a theoretical guarantee for the implementation of theemotional education. The third chapter starts from the achievement of secondaryvocational school teaching goals and the status quo of secondary vocationalschool students, puts forward the necessity of implementing emotional educationfor secondary vocational students and also in the Biochemistry teaching. In thefourth chapter, the author surveys and analyses the status quo of emotionaleducation in the vocational Biochemistry teaching using questionnaires andinterviews and provides a practical basis for the concept of teaching strategiesaccording to the results of the survey. In the fifth chapter,based on the theoretical analysis and survey research, the author combines with her own Biochemistryteaching and practical experience, proposes the implementation strategy ofemotional education and provides some references for secondary vocationalBiochemistry teaching. The author draws the conclusion according to the teachingeffect of implementing strategy in the last chapter, rethinks the research work andputs forward the prospects for future work.The results show that students’ emotional and cognitive development levelshave been improved through the implementation of the emotional education inBiochemistry teaching.
