To promote the balanced development of education is the base of socialjustice, and the starting point of life justice. It is the lifeline of education toimprove the education quality. Teachers are the core element to both education’sbalanced development and education quality’s improvement.I choose this theme as my research starting point due to the following reasons,to learn more about the conditions of Shandong Province’s junior high schoolgeography teachers, to improve the level of the teachers, to improve the geographyclassroom teaching quality of Shandong province’s junior school, to attain the goalof balanced education, and to achieve the target of education fairness. In order tolearn about the situation of the geography classroom teaching of Shandongprovince’s junior school, in2012, I developed a survey on the integration andapplication of junior high school geography teachers’ traditional teachingtechnology and modern teaching technology. After compared and explored theonline survey results, we got a general knowledge that only40percent teachers areprofessional. The gap between our junior high school geography teachers’ degreehierarchy and that of the other subjects’ teachers and also other provinces’ teachersis widely obvious. When the multi-major teachers teach geography, they have toimprove themselves on many aspects, such as the basic knowledge of the subject,basic skills, the understanding of new curriculum reform, new curriculumstandards and new textbooks. Another survey result shows that the teachersgenerally are disappointed with the present expert’s lectures, they would rather learn from the star teachers’ teaching and communicate with them to improve theirprofessional level. From the survey, I also learned that, with different degrees anddifferent ages, the teachers’ need of professional development and classroomteaching is different. For example, the teachers of graduate or above, focus onteachers’ language application ability, teaching reflective competence and classmonitoring ability. The teachers with high school degree are the most confidentones of all, however, they do the worst on modern media operation and coursewaremaking.On application of three boards, the higher the teachers’ degrees are, the lessthey apply the board diagrams and graphs, and the ratio of the teachers who neverapply three boards keeps increasing.This program applies the method of cross and three-dimensional analysis. Onthe base of data, the write displays a lot of intuitive charts. By the analysis to data,the write preliminary revealed some causes of the present problems. For example,60percent multi-major teachers originated from the policy of our governmentwhich requires all the schools to provide all the subjects, and ensure of enoughteaching hours. At that time, the junior high school geography teachers wererelatively scarce in most regions of Shandong province, so the multi-majorteachers occurred. Again, as a traditional basic instructive skill of geography, threeboards’ frequency of utilization varies a lot with different length of teaching time,with different teaching habits, different operating abilities, and different trainingthe teachers received. The modern media technology starts late, the teachers with higher degrees graduated late too, that’s why they can do better in this area.Standing on the situation of Shandong province’s junior high schoolgeography teachers and teachers’ self-evaluation to their classroom teaching, thewriter suggests that we should promote the teacher staff’s quality from four aspects.Firstly, we must strengthen the education policy of continuous and system design.To avoid the structural imbalance of teachers and education policies need to makeforward-looking and feasibility analysis, try to keep policy stability andmaneuverability; Second, we must improve the complementary mechanism ofgeography teachers. All academic accomplishment are needed for students’ growth,not artificially on the subject of major, deputy division the division of, to ensurethe full allocation of geography teachers; The third is to make the training morerelevant and effective. Four to get rid of vanity, return the origin of educationdiscipline. Do not follow suit, do not blindly follow around the subjectcharacteristics of classroom teaching. Not only is in the form of services to theorigin of the subject, is a realistic choice to meet the needs of all disciplines.This research will provide valuable reference materials for both theconstruction and development of Shandong Province’s junior high schoolgeography teachers and the decision-making of Shandong province’s junior highschool geography teaching. The research will also make active contribution tobalanced education and education justice.
