Nowadays most normal junior and high schools have arranged one or two periods for Chinese class every week in Thai. The teaching method of edutainment is advocated in Thailand schools, where the students have no pressure from their parents and the society. Most students are active and ingenious in life, but at class they are undisciplined and have little study consciousness. The huge differences between Chinese students and Thai students could be a great challenge for new-coming teachers. Therefore, it’s necessary to make teaching designs before the classes. How to teach effective and improve the quality of Chinese teaching has become an emphasis in Chinese teaching research.The author had worked at Rattanakosinsomphotbowonniwetsalaya School as a Chinese volunteer teacher. The teaching object is high school students at grade five class one. The teaching material is Experiencing Chinese. During this period, the author realized the importance of teaching design. On the purpose of providing reference for other Chinese teachers in Thailand and making contribution to Chinese international promotion, this article,which is based on the research of teaching design theory of TCSL and combined with practical situation in Thailand,uses the teaching design of Food for Rattanakosinsomphotbowonniwetsalaya School grade Ⅴ(1)as an example to research comprehensive Chinese course teaching design for primary stage high school students.The main content includes:Chapter one, the introduction of the research object, significance and methods.Chapter two, the review of the overseas and domestic research status of teaching design,comprehensive course teaching design.Chapter three, the analysis of the theoretical basis and fundamental principle of comprehensive course teaching design.Chapter four, a teaching design of Food in Experience Chinese high school version book two.Chapter five, teaching evaluation and reflection.
