With the continuous development and progress of the times ahead of society, but also of modern education along with the deepening of reform, quality education has become the main theme of the new century, educational reform, for PE teachers put forward higher requirements. Sign this paper to teachers in rural primary and middle schools in Sichuan sports as the research object, the basic situation and qualities of sports teachers in rural primary and secondary schools in Sichuan were investigated. And the use of Excel and SPSS 22.0 software were sports teachers in rural primary and middle schools in Sichuan situation in ideological quality, physical, psychological, intellectual qualities and competencies in five areas were studied and analyzed, the results showed that:1.Sichuan rural teachers of primary and secondary school sports sex ratio imbalance is severe, less the number of women PE teachers; the education level, the lower the age of 41 years and older teacher education, some teachers in the following undergraduate education; higher education young teacher for bachelor degree or above; lack of highly educated PE teachers; in secondary and tertiary titles composed mainly of young teachers is the main sport.2.ideological quality and knowledge quality aspects: whether students in love, love sports undertakings; or average in terms of scholarship have reached more than 3.4 points. While the average in terms of scholarship is relatively low, it has reached 2.861 points, the overall situation is ideal. But in the expression of cultural knowledge and education level of scientific knowledge of computers and published several aspects of the average scores of 1.7 points or less, using the game show knowledge of the law in terms of the expertise embodied in general, the average score of only 2.871 points, compared with the overall situation difference.3.physical and mental qualities: the average value reflects the health of the physical aspects reached 3 points or more, the overall situation is ideal. Higher average score reflects the psychological quality of anti-frustration ability, reaching more than 3 points; and in the exchange of teaching experience and the other a frequency of PE teachers and self-regulation in general terms of average score, average score of 2.7 points or less, overall situation in general.4.The competency areas: where the ability to organize, manage and stronger regulation of teaching activities, with an average score of 3 points or more; ability to understand and use textbooks, language skills and observation to understand the ability of students in general, the average score of 2.5 points above; education and scientific research ability is poor, with an average score of 2 points or less, the overall situation in general. Wherein reflect school and social events coordination capacity of the students injured in the accident processing capacity, the school or school fights around the processing power and the average score on the naughty student management capabilities are high, both at 3 points or more, the overall situation is good.
