Mr. Pang Pu famous scholar said: "Culture as an object, not only the nature of the times, and a national character." China’s traditional culture is not only a long history, but the content is profound, but the economy in the form of different regions, the development of the ideology of the existence of big difference, cultural characteristics of different regions in the long term accumulated precipitation for the formation and development of the moral character of the people had a profound impact. The local cultural resources applied to politics teaching them, not only conducive to the development and innovation of local culture while being able to enrich teaching resources, means and methods of ideological and political course, in order to better accomplish the task of teaching to achieve teaching objectives, contributed to high school students form a good moral character.Dalian is located in the southern tip of the Liaodong Peninsula, located in the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea, with good natural conditions, a great location to become China’s best tourist city, but also the heart of the city in Liaoning coastal economic belt, deep marine culture, has a long history of human activity, creating a wealth of resources. If the Dalian local cultural resources being applied to politics teaching, enrich the teaching content for innovative teaching methods, building good teaching environment is quite beneficial.Local cultural resources in the teaching of ideological and political course of the application, there are still some problems, such as education curriculum development body consciousness, lack of capacity to collect and process information, the lack of breadth and depth of classroom teaching methods applied to a single, yet formed Good ideological and political education environment, and so on. Local cultural resources in the ideological and political teaching full utilization, should advance from the following aspects: First, to strengthen the construction of teachers, educators, curriculum developers raise awareness and improve the use of local cultural re sources Expand Political classroom capacity; secondly, further innovation local cultural resources applied to politics teaching methods in the classroom, the local cultural resources and teaching content and effective convergence, outside the classroom, an d guide students to actively participate in local cultural resources associated with practice activities; and finally, to create a local cultural resources applied to ideological and political teaching of the external environment, to provide support for better carry out teaching.
