In South Korea, Chinese characters teaching for primary school students is becoming more and more important. This reform defined that the Chinese characters as a new course in teaching education curriculum system for pupils, and in the general education curriculum also pointed out "creative experience" clearly, this creative experience should be actively involved in Chinese character’s teaching content. The Chinese characters teaching textbooks and the importance of the "creative experience" stressed that the Chinese characters teaching. Therefore, to study the school teaching of Chinese characters in the direction and method is Imminent.In the vocabulary of Korean, Chinese words account for a large proportion, through to the character learning of Chinese, students can use the native language more accurately, and also help learning to expand from other disciplines. Therefore, according to the continuity and consistency of the educational process, from the perspective of relevance of primary school and middle school Chinese teaching and Chinese characters teaching, it is very necessary that the teaching reform of the Chinese characters teaching rules as a tool of Chinese curriculum system in the curriculum.Although there is a long history Korean primary school teaching the Chinese characters on the whole, but the system is not good enough. The syllabus of Chinese characters teaching, teaching materials and teachers have obvious deficiencies. Although in 2009 the South Korean Ministry of Education announced the seventh education reform program about Chinese characters teaching for a new course of elementary education curriculum system, and requirements in "creative experience" should be actively involved in Chinese characters teaching content, but the guidance document of Chinese characters education in South Korea is still the basic education 《Chinese character study with 1800 characters》 (2001 Edition), the scope of Chinese characters teaching is determined to be 1800 Chinese characters, while South Korea’s syllabus had no clear regulations or requirements for primary school Chinese teaching content, there is no specialized Chinese teaching syllabus.The investigation shows that most of majority of Korean primary school didn’t offer specialized courses Chinese characters, also lack of primary school textbooks in South Korean for Chinese characters study, Chinese characters teaching is neglected status in the Korean primary school teaching system. Even if they open the Chinese characters class, what to teach, how to teach are often decided by the teachers themselves, lack of guidance teaching or procedures. On the students’ learning, most students are interested in learning Chinese characters, especially the single word learning, about the teaching method, students like animation teaching method more. But most of the Chinese characters teaching primary school the whole word teaching, The strokes of Chinese characters are always be neglected, thus causing errors in the use of Chinese characters in the process of students. The students Chinese characters errors include strokes errors and stroke order error, structure error and the radicals bias and other types. The cause of the error not only include Chinese characters the ideographic text itself, but also with the Korean primary school teaching situation, students’ learning Chinese characters of the cognitive ability of the method Chinese characters and students themselves and so on.According to the characteristics of Korean students master the meaning of words, the indirect learning ability, attention and learning habits and so on, in order to improve the level of primary school Chinese teaching, as the Department in charge of education to develop Chinese characters syllabus for primary school in South Korea, South Korean students learning to write with the characteristics of Chinese characters teaching, with reference to the relevant research results clearly Chinese characters of Korean primary school teaching content. In the actual teaching process, should pay attention to Chinese characters reading and writing, as far as possible to overcome negative transfer in the learning process of study, to strengthen the study on the teaching method of Chinese characters, make the Chinese characters teaching in Korean primary school more scientific, reasonable, and effective.
