In recent years, the level of our country’s economic strength, national governments at all levels increased in ethnic areas and the social public attention and the support of economic and social development, makes the ethnic minority areas in recent years both infrastructure, public education and health have improved. Western ethnic areas, however, the villages and towns in more remote areas, the social and economic development is relatively backward, coupled with the practical factors such as ethnic, religious, poverty, remote, compared with the relatively developed areas in China, ethnic minority areas for infrastructure is not perfect enough, poverty population is much and account for larger proportion, are to some extent, seriously hindered the development of economic society in national regions, also is the important reason for the lagging development of compulsory education in ethnic minority areas.This paper is himself while studying for a master’s degree, in yunnan province based on the investigation of the YongNing Township summer. YongNing Township compulsory education because of its nation more into, low economic level of the representation of the ethnic minority areas, and has strong research significance. Himself in the thesis and YongNing Township compulsory education development in ethnic areas and the cause of the problem mainly adopts the literature law, investigation method and comparative analysis. Through the above method to describe YongNing Township problems of compulsory education, through the positive analysis of the compulsory education development abroad when faced with practice, draw lessons from the beneficial part, combining the actual situation of our country’s compulsory education in ethnic minority areas, in be targeted to the development of compulsory education in minority areas in our country the problems and obstacles put forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions.Due to the economic and social development YongNing Township influenced by geographical location and traditional policy deviation, is in a state of relatively backward for a long time, also in yunnan province YongNing Township education development foundation is weak. Currently, YongNing Township compulsory education development at present because of the limited education funds, imperfect infrastructure, the teachers level is limited, and the reason of unstable teachers serious impact on the development of the compulsory education. This paper on how to improve the present YongNing Township conditions of compulsory education and promote the steady development of the compulsory education advocated by perfecting the management system of compulsory education to clarify the responsibilities of governments at all levels, enhance the level of compulsory education and teaching quality, to speed up information construction of education resources, creating a favorable external environment and the countermeasures, such as YongNing Township and school’s own efforts.
