With the rapid development of the Internet, Internet innovations are being or have been merged in the depth of the economic and social fields. Online education has become an important form of education, which is under the "Internet+ Education". In 2014 years, data shows that online education is becoming an important educational way with other education methods coexist. In the Internet age, online learning has become a common learning style. At the same time, MOOC represented online education is sweeping the globe, which has played a role in fueling the trend of online learning. However, the quality of online learning has been criticized.The data shows that 35 percent of learners doubt effectiveness and quality of online learning. In the face of all sorts of trouble, blended learning gradually attention. Through online learning and blended learning, therefore, comparative study and exploration of online learning and what are the lack of what, look to the current MOOC problems in teaching and learning, and summarizes the feasible practice and advantage in blended learning to optimize MOOC the quality and effect of teaching and learning has important research significance.This study consists of three parts. The first part is theoretical analysis, including introduction, theoretical basis and related concepts as well as for "Modern Educational Technology" curriculum and learning style analysis. The second part is about empirical studies, including research design and procedure, data analysis, findings and cause analysis. The third part is about theoretical sublimation, which proposes to optimize the quality, MOOC construction and application strategy of online learning.Part I:First of all, to clarify research background and put forward to research questions. This paper reviewed the research situation of online learning and blended learning both at home and abroad to clear research purpose and meaning. Secondly, this study describes the support of the theory, analysis the concept of online learning and blended learning. Finally, the paper analyses the institute depending on the platform, namely that "Modern Educational Technology" and it adopted online learning and blended learning mode.Part II:Firstly, this paper put forward the research hypothesis and analyse research variables to determine the object of study and methods, develope tools and design research process. Secondly, four aspects were compared, which were the online learners with mixed learners in cognitive goals, skill goals, emotion goals and network learning behavior goals.Then this paper summarizes six research conclusion, namely. ①Blended learning is significantly better than online learning on the cultivation of high-level cognitive goals. ②Blended learning is more conducive than online learning to promote achievement of the goals. ③ Blended learning has more advantages than online learning on the cultivation of emotional goals. ④Blended learners was significantly higher than the online learner in the compliance rate and persistence. ⑤ Deep and high involvement and high surface online learners participate Blended learners.⑥ Learners on the online learning active period showed some intermittent and concentration. Finally, according to the research findings, combined with interviews and qualitative data, this paper which were observed differences from two aspects of internal factors and external factors to analyse, collate and draw the following six reasons, namely that ①Under the online learning way, learners can not effectively called cognitive strategy. ② Online learning styles are higher demand for learners’self-monitoring and regulation requirements. ③Online learning do not have the advantage to cultivate self-learning ability of learners. ④Teachers’ leading role are played down under the online learning. ⑤Online learning that learners expect diversity of learning support services. ⑥Online learners need special customized resources under the online learning.Part III:Optimization of the quality of online learning, MOOC construction and application of strategies. This paper is for research findings revealed the cause. Moreover, this paper descrices from the construction of learning resources, learning activity design, learning support services and learning evaluation of the development. Putting forward to optimizing the quality of online learning and MOOC construction, application policy. Meanwhile, the implementation and application of policy were illustrated.This study reveals two different learning ways, which are online learning and blended learning. The paper is from four aspects to analysis learners’ learning goals and network learning behavior by contrast research conclusion and the reasons. To provide the basis of empirical research which is the development of online learning and MOOC construction and application. According to the study, providing the feasibility of targeted strategies that proposed to optimize the quality of online learning and MOOC construction and application, putting forward to a theoretical basis and application value.
