With the innovation of information technology and communication technology lead to the rapid development of Blended Learning which is combines t he traditional face to face learning and online learning. MOOC as the great waves swept the world and many of the famous universities have joined the queue of the MOOC to occupy the development opportunities. Some people think that MOOC as the university which is without walls will be a threat to the traditional teaching methods and would eventually replace the traditional university. Some people think that MOOC is just a scenery. We should use the dialectical way to look at the MOOC, everything has two choices. However we face specific problems, such as Blended Learning not achieve the expected result in the online leaning stage and the rate for MOOC completion is low. MOOC as the online learning resources in the Blended Learning not only can play the advantages of MOOC and can compensate the disadvantages of traditional Blended Learning. Therefore the full analysis the characteristics of the MOOC and construct the Blended Learning mode of colleges and universities based on MOOC have a practical significance on the reform of college education.This study is according to a variety of methods that include the literature analysis and case analysis. First, analyze the development of MOOC and Blended Learning. Secondly, we explore the specific cases which use MOOC for Blended Learning. Finally, constructing the Blended Learning mode of college and university based on MOOC and introducing related strategies. This thesis is compose of four chapters.The first part describing the background, significance and development status of this study.The second part the feasibility and reality of the Blended Learning based on MOOC are expounded and the related cases are analyzed. The conclusion is that MOOC has a certain feasibility for college students to carry out Blended Learning. We analyze the course Surveying in the Federal Polytechnic School in Lausanne Switzerland(EPFL), Marxism Basic Tenets courses based on platform of Tsinghua University, WEMOOC based on platform of Wisdom Tree, The Union of UOOC launched by Shenzhen University and the master of professional degree program in Tsinghua University. Summarize the teaching organization form, curriculum development process, course selection process and so on.The third part constructing the Blended Learning mode of college and university based on MOOC which combines the online learning and traditional learning. The model consists of four parts: front analysis, curriculum development, curriculum teaching and teaching evaluation.The fourth, put forward the strategy of how to carry out the blended learning of college and university based on MOOC. On the one hand, in order to improve the quality and quantity of MOOC, encourage the co-construction and sharing of colleges and universities, establish the mechanism for mutual reco gnition of credits to promote the resource utilization, the assurance of carrying on the blended learning of college and university based on MOOC is introduce advanced instructional theory to improve the model of teaching. On the other hand, the new model of teaching has put forward new requirements for students and teachers, we should training the team of teachers to adapt to the new model. So the teachers have became the mentor, regulators and guider of education, the students have became the inquirers and researchers of knowledge.The purpose of this study is complying with the new trend of internet+ education, constructing the blended learning model of college and university based on MOOC and put forward some strategies, providing some opinions and suggestions for the education reform.
