Vocational education, as a kind of education form, which connects knowledge output and economic progress, is in Chinese education history for thousand years. Outbreak of the opium war in 1840, the western capitalist countries knocked the door of closed China, at the same time, the western countries brought advanced production technology. After significant changes have taken place in the social form, education form and adjust accordingly.Since 1904, the Qing government promulgated and implemented the first system legislation, the development of industrial education entered the orthodox schooling system. In 1922, after the discussion of the education, "Ren Xu education system" promulgated and implemented, the name of the vocational education has also been established.15 years from 1922 to 1937, stable policy of the government of the republic of China provided a good background to the development of vocational education. Under the guarantee of "Ren Xu education system ", vocational education legislation has been gradually standardized. The constitution of the vocational education school was more complete, the theory of vocational education developed to a peak, the practice of vocational education is also in full swing.Chapter One:the orientation of vocational education under "Ren Xu education system".Based on the background of the promulgation of the "Ren Xu education system", from the progress of the society development, the rise of new industry for the needs of the professional skilled talents as the breakthrough point, this thesis discusses the institutional construction of vocational education, the relationship between vocational education and general education, and the government of the republic of China in the coercive power of the law guarantee of vocational education to promote and promulgated a series of vocational education law. After "Ren Xu education system" promulgated, the development of vocational education has entered a higher stage. From the macroscopic aspect lay the foundation of the development of secondary vocational education.Chapter Two:The vocational education thought and social practice of the medium republic of China. This chapter discuss the development of vocational education thought and vocational education diversified practice, including the educator Huang Yanpei and others ’perfect contribution theory of vocational education, vocational education journals published for vocational education and vocational education guidance.Chapter Three:This chapter discusses the general situation of secondary vocational school of the republic of China, in the Vocational school as an example. At the same time, the thesis discusses the secondary vocational school education situation in the whole country. This part include the curriculum of secondary vocational schools, professional ethics education, practice teaching and the students’ employment situation, etc.Chapter Four:Reference and enlightenment. This chapter discuss the establishment of the vocational education system; Vocational education and the needs of social development; the academic level and skill increasing.
