Since 2001 our country began to promote elementary education new curriculum reform, thus there are many scholars devoted to the study of the theory and practice of the new curriculum reform.In the process of research, scholars have found that the teacher’s professional knowledge level to a certain extent, directly affects the quality of the teacher’s teaching, finally will also indirectly affect the quality of the new curriculum reform. So to research the teachers’ professional knowledge has the very vital significance to improve teachers’ professional level and to promote the progress of the new curriculum reform.This paper is mainly combined the teacher’s professional knowledge with chemical disciplines, to research the present situation of junior high school chemistry new teachers’ professional knowledge in practice. First through the literature analysis method to the related literature at home and abroad about the teachers’ professional knowledge to arrange, after the analysis to sort out the structure and content of junior middle school chemistry teachers’ professional knowledge.Then according to the junior middle school chemistry teachers’ professional knowledge structure and contents to selected topics and compiled into the first draft of the questionnaire. After the analysis of the reliability and validity of the questionnaire, to determine the content of the questionnaire, investigating the professional knowledge of more than 200 junior high school chemistry teachers across the country.After recycling questionnaire, selecting the 180 valid questionnaires, using SPSS software for data processing and analysis of the questionnaire, it is concluded that the junior high school chemistry new teachers and old teachers, as well as the different backgrounds of the significant differences between the new teachers. At the same time, cooperate with the interview method to interview of a certain number of grade teacher, in addition to the questionnaire results.To analyze the results of the questionnaire and interview, come to the conclusion that by thinking and literature to study and put forward practical enlightenment.The content of this paper mainly includes the following four parts:The first part is introduction, mainly is simple introduced the research of teacher’s professional knowledge and the research background, and then briefly expounds the research content of this paper, the research significance and the present situation of the research at home and abroad.The second part is literature review, through to the related literature at home and abroad to consult and arrange, summarizes the definition of teacher’s professional knowledge, the structure of teachers’ professional knowledge, the research status of teacher’s professional knowledge.Review the contents of the above as the main theoretical basis of this paper studies.The third part is the research design.First elaborated the author of this thesis design idea and design process of the questionnaire and interview, and implementation of investigation.Followed by data statistics and analysis of the questionnaire, come to a conclusion. Then the contents of the interview arrangement and analysis, finally come to a conclusion.The fourth part is the conclusion and enlightenment.The author summarized from the questionnaire and interview results about the present situation of junior high school chemistry new teachers’ professional knowledge, finally come to following conclusions:Junior high school chemistry teacher, no matter new or old teacher, all the teacher’s professional level has reached the new curriculum reform of teacher’s professional knowledge level;The level of the new junior high school chemistry teacher’s professional knowledge is overall lower than junior middle school chemistry experienced old teacher; The difference of new junior high school chemistry teachers’ knowledge in different school is significant.According to the result analysis we put forward reasonable Suggestions about how to improve the new junior high school chemistry teachers’ professional knowledge.The last review of this study, summarized the limitation of this paper.
