Students’ learning qualities directly affect their learning situation, especially those that function as internal causes. According to materialistic dialectics, the internal causes are the source and power of things’ movement. So, only by studying the internal causes of senior students’ learning qualities on physics, can students improve their physics purposefully and effectively.This thesis mainly focuses on the senior students’ learning qualities on physics and the relative effect of the influence factors on physics. The thesis includes six chapters.The first chapter uses literature analysis to illustrate the present situation of learning qualities at home and abroad.The second chapter learns qualities and the general influence factors, learns qualities on physics and the relative main influence factors. Combined with the special characteristics of physics itself and the previous study at home and abroad, this part lays a sound theoretical foundation for the Senior Students’ Learning Qualities on Physics Questionnaire.Chapter Three uses Senior Students’Learning Qualities on Physics Questionnaire to investigate 260 Senior One students in a model school in Xian Yang City. The number of girls nearly equals that of the boys. The data is input into the computer and analyzed through Excel 2006 and SPSS 19.0 respectively. The questionnaire’s validity and reliability prove to be qualified. By further analysis, three conclusions are demonstrated as follows:Firstly, the main factors of the senior students’ learning qualities that affect students’ physics include cognitive structure, multiple intelligence and learning styles and their influence degree decreases successively. Compared with other influence factors, learning motivation’ influence degree is less.Secondly, the influence of logical intelligence, spatial intelligence and intrapersonal intelligence in multiple intelligences can’t be ignored; the influence factors of cognitive structures have significant positive correlation with physics study; among the factors of learning styles, the style of thinking and mental experiment are the two most prominent and the other factors have little significant effect.Thirdly, boys and girls have significant distinctions in self-efficacy, altruistic motivation, the need of self-development, movement intelligence, content and the structure of thinking.The four chapter shows that teachers need to arouse the students’self-need by guiding students to be involved in study actively. The students are expected to use their own way to interpret, understand, reform and restructure information and all those can’t be separate with the cultivation of the students’ learning qualities. This research gives three suggestions. Firstly, the teachers themselves should set a good example before they require students to cultivate good learning qualities. The teaching is bound to be adjusted to the students’ learning situation so as to lay good foundations for the improvement of students’learning qualities. Furthermore, the teachers are expected to cultivate students’learning qualities by posing questions and distributing tasks. The students need to improve their holistic learning qualities by focusing on the self-learning quality. Lastly, the teachers are expected to impose purposeful measures to improve students’ physics based on the influence factors of learning qualities on physics.In the fifth chapter, a case in Curvilinear Motion is analyzed to study how to cultivate some learning qualities on physics. Teachers are expected to link the contents of different chapters with the students’ situation and teach orderly and effectively. The cultivation of study qualities on senior physics is a long and continuous process.Chapter Six is the summary of the research. It includes the major findings, innovative points, limitations and suggestions for future research.
