With the continuous development of industrialization and urbanization in China, urban demand for labour quantity increasing, and the existence of urban and rural segmentation system, in farmers’ hometown appear a large number of left-behind children, its scale has been expanded. The generation of left-behind children has brought a series of social problems, the education of left-behind children is one of the most outstanding problem. It not only relates to the left-behind children’s own healthy growth, but also related to the construction of new rural development in our country and society stable and harmonious. "left-behind children" education issue has caused wide attention from all walks of life. This article selected some ethnic villages as the research area in Long Li, Qiannan Buyi and Miao autonomous prefecture, Guizhou province. Through the field visit and questionnaire survey, Combined the theory of social support network and social organization, from two aspects of formal and informal support, specific described the left-behind children’s learning and living conditions, depth analysis of the present situation of left-behind children education of social support. From the government, school, family, social, this four aspects to find the cause, the cause of the left-behind children’s education in ethnic areas, and put forward the measures and suggestions. For the social support of left-behind children’s education in ethnic areas to provide beneficial help, enables them to live happy, healthy growth and comprehensive development.
