Analysis On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Vocational Skill Training For Retired Athletes In Shaanxi Province

Athletes are engaged in a high-risk and high investment career, they struggle for our nation’s sports development and devote their youth and sweat into competitive sports. But when they stop training because of invaliding or age, they have to retire.As they step into the course of career transition, due to some own problems and the social system, they can’t find their suitable place well in an absolutely new social environment. Excellent athletes are national sports front core talents and treasure, our government has paid much attention on athletes’ security and retirement placement, it’s also the hot issues of public concern. In recent years, the General Administration of Sports and other departments have jointly introduced a number of policies, which require carrying out vocational guidance for the athletes, provide further guarantee and help them change their vocation successfully. In order to implement the national policies better, to decrease difficulties in re-employment of retired athletes. Human Resource Development Center of the State Sports General Administration of Sports host many periods of vocational skills training for retired athlete every year. This paper takes the group of retired athletes as the research object. On the one hand, it conducts a comprehensive study and analysis of the retired athletes’ re-employment situation, and elaborate the causes for their difficulties in re-employment from the aspects of "Separations of the training and education, social policy support, athletes’ injuries and high social expectations of athletes, all of which raise the necessity and importance of vocational skills training. On the other hand, according to the work practice of Shaanxi vocational skills training, based on the ontology research on vocational skills, this paper analyze thoroughly and find some appropriate measures on "management system, found and training contests". Meanwhile, it still studies in the work of occupation identification on sports and the development of sports industry in Shaanxi, both of them are beneficial to vocation skills training of retired athletes.
