| Because of the special occupational characteristics, Athletes usually will face serious employment pressure after their retirement. Behind those brilliant achievements Athletes for the competitive sports conceal their "loneliness and helpless." The inherent nationwide sports activities system and the gold medal first philosophy" has a profound impact on the athlete’s Culture and Education. Currently, the majority of the athletes’ education level is not enough. This makes a lot of "grass-roots" athlete retired in the case of injuries, lack of knowledge and skills to the community. Especially, in recent years, the elite athletes "being unemployed" and "life difficult" exposure through the media in front of people, reveals that the problem of employment of retired athletes has become an important issue.In order to conduct proper re-employment for the athletes resettlement work, actively carry out decommissioning the athletes employment training and guidance related to the long-term building of the sports teams, sources related to sports talented athletes new and old replacement as well as sports undertakings related to sustainable development. This paper has an insight to the area in which according to the characteristics of the retired athletes engaged in sports, personal strengths, hobbies and job wishes, through targeted curriculum and system of training, in doing so to help those retired athletes establish a correct premise career outlook as well as acquire the necessary knowledge and skills, afterwards, to smooth realization of the conversion, achieving a better physical transition to a higher technology content of vocational transformation from the athletes to the professional role. Taken the chance of holding the Eleventh National Games in Qingdao,2009, the author has conducted a survey of sports teams across the country13provinces and cities of the Yachting, including sailing project203athletes in service and their coaches from13Provinces Cities all over China. The vast majority of athletes and coaches expressed feelings of their desire for vocational training. In addition, there are a small number of athletes’attitude on the employment problem is not clear enough, which reflects certain athletes face difficulties on the psychological of debugging and role conversion. Many people expressed their concerns for retired athletes and training, such as the administration department should to set up vocational training centers or institutions, stipulate the conversion period of about a year before retirement for targeted centralized training beneficial.Literature data, questionnaire, interviews, other research methods and effective analysis pointed out that the status of the retired athletes, vocational training for retired athletes to exploit their strengths to the full, with the competition for jobs in a relatively short period. Establishment of retired athletes vocational skills training center for retired athletes from the psychological adjustment to vocational skills, set up with the market, targeted vocational training courses, employment of retired athletes to provide effective vocational guidance, the retired athletes after a period of learning will establish professional self-confidence, learning vocational knowledge, master vocational skills then well adapt into the community in a good mental outlook and strong career match, diversifying the channels of employment, therefore to create a better future. |
