Under the background of new basic education curriculum reform, with the further development of the research of education reform, the Courses integration trend more and more obvious. There is a tradition that “political and history belong to a family”. The political discipline as a comprehensive strong discipline, there are many internal relations with history. This paper tries to probe the using of historical thinking in high school ideological and political teaching, which is based on the teaching practice and in purpose of help the teacher use it well.This paper will be divided into four parts. The first part is an introduction. Firstly, this paper outlines the reasons put forward. Then, through comparative study of the literature defines the meaning of “Historical thinking”. Finally, the study briefly discusses the necessity and the major research methods. The second part is the theoretical research part. The author justifies a theoretical basis for discipline infiltration, and analyzes the feasibility of the implementation, such as the comprehensive education reform, the middle school students’ cognitive development, curriculum goal and the discipline particularity. The third part is the empirical research part. Firstly, based on the connection of history and politic, the content of how to infiltrate was analyzed, Mainly reflected in the shed light on the evolution of human political, see the essence through the phenomenon, predicted the development trend of political things, by historical evidence for political problems. Then, from three aspects analyzed the way of infiltrating historical thinking into ideological and political teaching, including the politics curriculum standard, the political textbooks and classroom teaching. The fourth part is the reflection part. Discusses the problems needed to be taken into consideration when we infiltrate historical thinking into ideological and political teaching in high school, and Put forward proposals to resolve. Finally, the author summarizes the entire paper’s research, analyzes the deficient of the research, and hopes to make further research in the future study and practice.
