Research On The Development Of Local Geography Teaching Material And Its Teaching

Local Geography geography teaching is an important part,since the date of birth of modern geography area to lay its proper position in the geography. With the New Basic Education Reform to promote and deepen,local geography has been a new development, geography curriculum standards more prominent local geography.Therefore, the development and implementation of Local Geography Teaching materials become an important issue. In theory,any subject can be a patriotic love of home education,but local geography is more effective. To the students love home,students will make the home a sense of belonging. To generate a sense of belonging to the homeland, we have to be aware of home. Local geography education is an important means of home students a sense of belonging. In the local geography teaching,deeper understanding by students around the geographical environment, to understand the history and current status of the home environment Changes to know traditions and contributions to society hometown,students pride,self-confidence and sense of responsibility, and enhance love motherland, love their hometown. In practice activities,through the combination of theory and practice,so that students apply their knowledge. In establish the scientific concept of development at the same time, develop their comprehensive practical ability, which is required overall development of students. And also the need for sustainable development and social geography education. However, since the depth of reform is not enough, local geography in school education and unappreciated. Main features: social development speed,local geography teaching old,changes behind the times; less local geography textbooks,even with the new local geography textbooks have not been promoted;develop teachers’ awareness of local geography curriculum is weak;local Situation geography teaching implementation is not optimistic: the government and school leaders do not pay attention,local geography teaching are not guaranteed funding and policy; fewer teaching hours,not even implemented. In this context,how to develop local geography textbooks and how to better carry out the native geography teaching and research it is worth exploring.Based on the above issue,the author of "Into Pudong" for example,through the Pudong section of the school teachers and students questionnaires to understand local geography textbooks and teaching status of implementation. Combined with the needsof teachers and students, video and comments related to the topic of education experts,the development and implementation of local geography textbook teaching suggestions. The purpose of this paper is to explore the development of local geography textbook theory and teaching law implementation and effective way to provide a reference for the development and implementation of other parts of the local geography teaching materials.Firstly,from the local geography textbook development,we analyze the theory of local geography textbooks written to the general principle; from content selection,content organization,presentation and four sections constitute the characteristics "into Pudong" materials to analyze, investigate the laws of local geography textbook written; binding findings to make recommendations on the development of local geography textbooks. Then it analyzes the relevant theories and general principles of local geography teaching; the status quo has been teaching geography teachers and local surveys,expert interviews and teaching video analysis,we discuss the issues in native geography teaching lies; combined with the findings of the local geography teaching suggestions.
