Middle school teachers are the guarantee of basic education carried out smoothly and the cultivation of students’ healthy personality an important leader, middle school teachers’ Ideological and political status directly affects the quality and effect of the ideological and political education in the middle school. Therefore, research on Ideological and political education of the middle school teachers is very necessary.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part, through the elaboration of the connotation and function of Ideological and political education, analyzed and summed up the intension and function of Ideological and political education of middle school teachers, and further discusses the significance of strengthening the ideological and political education of middle school teachers.The second part, first of all, lists the main achievements of the ideological and political education of secondary school teachers; secondly, it points out the problems existing in the ideological and political education of middle school teachers. Including the school part of the degree of attention to the ideological and political education of teachers is not enough, the middle school teachers’ Ideological and political education theory is too strong, middle school teachers’ Ideological and political education carrier lack creativity, middle school teachers’ Ideological and political education environment needs to be to optimize, middle school teachers’ Ideological and political education effect evaluation lack operation. Thirdly, the paper analyses the reasons of the existing problems. Including part of middle school teachers’ Ideological and political education enrollment rate interference is serious, middle school teachers’ Ideological and political education content sometimes and practical work out of touch, middle school teachers’ Ideological and political education carrier in the form of a single, the unfavourable factors of the environment affected the effect of education, middle school teachers’ Ideological and political education evaluation mechanism is not perfect.The third part, in view of the above question and the reason, has formulated the corresponding strategy. Establishing the important position of the ideological and political education of middle school teachers; enhanced middle school teachers’ Ideological and political education content targeted; strengthen the innovation of middle school teachers’ Ideological and political education carrier; optimization of middle school teachers’ Ideological and political education environment; improve evaluation mechanism for ideological and political education of middle school teachers.
