Ideological and political teachers give ideological and political education tostudents in Middle School. A teaching staff of high quality ideological and politicalteachers has a great significance to show the educational function of ideological andpolitical lessons. And the high quality teaching staff can also bring out the publicopinion guidance function of ideological and political lessons as well as prompt thedevelopment of ideological and political lessons.The strengthening of further education on ideological and political teachers canbroaden their view and renew knowledge as well as improve teaching skills thusenhance their comprehensive quality. Further education on ideological and politicalteachers is an effective way to ensure the all round development of the wholeideological and political teaching staff in Middle School.Combined with questionnaire survey and investigation, this passage research thepresent situation on further education and the problems of ideological and politicalteachers in Middle School in Chengdu mainly through looking for the relativeinformation on teachers’ further education both home and abroad. What’s more, thispassage also proposes the solutions to these existing problems. The passage can bedivided into four parts:First part is introduction. This part mainly explains the foundation and significanceof topics, literature review, research method, further education, further education onteachers, further education on Middle School teachers and further education onideological and political teachers in Middle School.The second part explains the basic situation of Middle School ideological andpolitical teachers in Chengdu. This part has a general investigation on overall structure,teaching and research, career awareness of Middle School ideological and politicalteachers in Chengdu. This part is the foundation of the research.The third part explains the problems in further education on ideological andpolitical teachers in Middle School of Chengdu. This part adopt questionnaire as the research method. It analyze the problems in further education on ideological andpolitical teachers in Middle School of Chengdu from the following six aspects: divergedmotive, improper time schedule, incoherent course content, onefold education method,weak encouraging mechanism, unscientific valuation approach.The fourth part explains the solutions to problems in further education onideological and political teachers in Middle School of Chengdu. Based on theinvestigation above, this part proposed the solutions to problems in further education onideological and political teachers in Middle School of Chengdu from the following sixaspects:Clarify the objective and change the stereotypes of ideological and politicalteachers in Middle School. Adjust the time table of the course so as to improve thelearning efficiency of ideological and political teachers in Middle School. Seize thecontent of further education and meet the needs of Middle School ideological andpolitical teachers. Innovate the means of further education and put emphasis on theparticipation of Middle School ideological and political teachers. Improve themechanism of further education and encourage Middle School ideological and politicalteachers to learn. Attach importance to the further education evaluation and enhance thequalities of Middle School ideological and political teachers.
